Application scenario: Ansteel hot rolling mill 2150 mm strip production line covering reheating furnace clean circulating water, rolling mill laminar cooling, and scale removal turbid water systems. Before retrofit, old S/SAP pumps had efficiency only 72%–76%, severe throttling losses; turbid water pump cast iron impellers wore through in 3–5 months, requiring more than 4 major repairs per year. Northeast winters reach -25°C with brittle fracture risk, no motor heating tracing; all constant-speed operation causing dual waste at low production load.


Solution content: M&W ENERGY SAVING won bid supply project (RMB 2.4197 million). XS double-suction split case clean water pumps (CFD three-dimensional flow impeller, efficiency ≥87.5%, 6kV variable frequency linked DCS automatic control); duplex 2507 stainless steel long-shaft turbid water pumps (wear life increased 3×, overhaul extended to 12+ months); ISR small hot water pumps. Cold-region upgrades: 220V electric tracing motors, -25°C cold start capability, all 304 stainless fasteners. Each pump equipped with PT100 temperature + vibration sensors, remote monitoring module for real-time energy tracking and fault alerts.


Project results: Comprehensive energy saving rate 22%–28%, annual electricity cost savings over 1.6 million RMB; turbid water pump overhaul frequency reduced by 70%, spare parts maintenance saving nearly 600,000 RMB per year; annual standard coal saving over 1,000 tons. First full pump package project directly supplied to Ansteel core production line, enabling replication across other Ansteel lines.
