Pump Project for Yuanjiang Golden Sun Paper Co., Ltd. ｜ Yuanjiang, Hunan

Application Scenario: Yuanjiang Golden Sun Paper Co., Ltd. was established in January 2002 and is mainly engaged in the production and sales of paper products and papermaking raw materials. The company holds a fire safety permit and is located on the shore of South Dongting Lake, covering an area of 800 mu with convenient water and land transportation. In 2019, it was shut down under the policy requiring the complete withdrawal of papermaking enterprises from the Dongting Lake area and is currently seeking transformation into fields such as reed ethanol production.

 

Solution content: A total of 10 pumps were supplied in batches, covering four major categories: split-case double-suction pumps, multistage pumps, pressure-maintaining pumps, and chemical pumps. In 2014, two large-flow split-case double-suction pumps were supplied: XS250-370 (1000 m³/h / 32 m / 132 kW) and XS350-360 (1700 m³/h / 32 m / 250 kW), primarily used for pulp circulation and conveying. From 2017 to 2019, an additional 5 sets of IS/IR series pressure-maintaining pumps, 4 sets of IH/IS series chemical pumps, and 1 set of D6-25×4 multistage pump were supplied, covering auxiliary systems such as fire-fighting pressure maintenance, chemical transportation, and high-pressure water replenishment. All pumps were equipped with YP series high-voltage motors, with efficiencies ranging from 60% to 81%.

 

Project Results: Replaced old pump units used in the paper industry, significantly improving the overall energy-saving rate; Flow-wetted parts are suitable for pulp water containing solids, greatly reducing maintenance frequency and substantially lowering spare parts costs.
