Why single stage double suction centrifugal pump trip when startReason: the electric current is too large when starting, the thermal protector unable to bear large electric current or current transformer in electric control cabinet inside trip,motor burnout.Methods: check the electric equipment, electric equipment is good. Shut down all the export valve, when the motor starts then open the valve slowly again, until the discharge pressure to meet the design pressure. If is a problem of current transformer need to replace it.
