Application scenario: PT. Soma Daya Utama coal-fired power plant in Karimun Island, Riau Province, Indonesia. Island isolated grid operation with circulating fluidized bed boiler , condensing turbine,and seawater cooling tower. Severe salt spray corrosion and extreme high-temperature, high-humidity environment.


Solution content: M&W ENERGY SAVING supplied 4 units 24SAP-28 horizontal single-stage double-suction circulating water pumps, equipped with 4 units YXKK4005 / 280kW / 6kV high-voltage motors. Full anti-corrosion design: pump body HT200Ni2Cr nickel-chromium alloy cast iron, impeller 316 stainless steel, shaft sleeve 2507 duplex stainless steel, bolts 304 stainless steel, motor with moisture- and salt-spray-resistant coating. Flow 3700 m³/h, head 20 m, efficiency 85%, vibration ≤0.076 mm, compliant with Chinese standards and Indonesian power industry specifications, full KKS labeling.


Project results: Benchmark export project for island coal-fired power plants in Indonesia. Adapted to salt-spray humid island environments and 31MW unit water demand, verifying integrated pump equipment and cross-border engineering delivery capability, establishing a model for Southeast Asia island power markets.
