The circulating water system energy-saving retrofit project undertaken by Changsha Haichuan Energy-Saving Technology Co., Ltd. for Hanwha Chemical (Ningbo) Co., Ltd. has been awarded the 2024 “Excellent Contract Energy Management Demonstration Project” by EMCA.

During the implementation of this project, focusing on modern industrial energy-saving demands, the transformation targeted three key areas: pump optimization, flow optimization, and pressure optimization. Through the introduction of high-efficiency equipment, advanced control systems, and optimized algorithms, the efficiency of fluid transportation equipment was significantly improved, and the operation of the circulating water system was comprehensively optimized.

This not only greatly enhanced the overall system performance but also achieved remarkable energy savings — helping the enterprise reduce operating costs while making a meaningful contribution to environmental protection.

Electricity savings: 3.093 million kWh

Standard coal savings: 1,036.16 tons

CO₂ emission reduction: 2,975.47 tons
